Budget Terminal (BT) of Singapore

The Budget Terminal (BT) of Singapore opened on 26 Mar 2006, is designed to support the budget airline business model, and is different from that of the traditional full service airlines. It comprises 2 adjacent single-storey buildings for departure and arrival respectively, covering about 25,000 sqm, or 3 football fields.

The simple but cheerful terminal has all the key travel facilities for passengers, and is able to handle about 2.7 million passengers per year. There is scope for further expansion should more airlines decide to join us.

Constructed at a cost of S$45 million, there are a total of 10 departure gates, 18 check in counters, and 3 arrival baggage belts. There is also an open car park which can accommodate up to 300 vehicles.
